Scorpio season starts Friday, October 23, 2026, at 2:37am PT, and it runs through November 21. If Libra season was about balance and beauty, Scorpio season is about depth: fewer things, felt all the way through.
Scorpio is the eighth sign of the zodiac, a fixed water sign ruled by Mars (its traditional ruler) and Pluto (its modern one). That adds up to feelings that run deep, a love of privacy and the kind of focus that doesn't quit halfway. So the next 30 days tend to feel a little more private, a little more honest and a little more intense, in the best way.
You don't need to become someone new this season. You just need one focus to carry you through it. This guide has the key dates, a 4-week plan and 15 Scorpio season focuses, each with why it fits and how to actually do it. Start with the one you landed on in my reel, or the one that pulls you first.

Your 4-week Scorpio season guide
Week 1 (Oct 23 to 29): pick your focus
Mercury turns retrograde right as the season starts, and the full moon in Taurus lands Sunday night. Taurus is the sign of comfort, and a full moon is traditionally a finish line, a night for rest and release. This week's focus: choose your one Scorpio focus and keep your plans light. Let Sunday night be slow: a bath, an early bedtime, nothing to prove.
Week 2 (Oct 30 to Nov 5): revisit, don't reinvent
Retrogrades are traditionally for reviewing, not starting over, so this is a week for returning to things: the half-read book, the friend you've been meaning to call back, the routine that worked for you last fall. Halloween lands on Saturday and the clocks fall back on Sunday. This week's focus: give your extra hour to yourself.
Week 3 (Nov 6 to 12): one deep fresh start
The new moon in Scorpio arrives Sunday night, Nov 8 (Pacific time). A new moon is the one night a month you can't see the moon at all, and it's traditionally the night to begin something. In Scorpio, it favors going deeper over adding more. This week's focus: write one honest intention, then take its smallest first step. My new moon ritual walks you through it in five minutes.
Week 4 (Nov 13 to 21): move forward
Mercury and Venus both turn direct on Nov 13, so whatever you've been reviewing can finally go ahead. This week's focus: look back at your focus, keep what worked and carry it into Sagittarius season.
Your 15 Scorpio season focuses
These are the 15 cards from my "screenshot for yours" reel on Instagram, with more room to explain each one. Read the one you landed on first, then steal from the others. We don't gatekeep here.

1. Go deeper, not wider.
Scorpio would rather know three people well than thirty people a little. This season favors depth over a full calendar.
- Skip one plan this week that you'd only go to out of obligation.
- Use that time for a long dinner or walk with someone who feels like home.
- Ask the follow-up question you'd usually skip: "how are you, really?"
2. Let it go. This time, for good.
Pluto, Scorpio's modern ruler, is the planet of endings and transformation. Letting go is how Scorpio season makes room.
- Clear out one drawer, one closet shelf or one camera roll album.
- Mute or leave the group chat that drains you.
- Write the grudge down, then throw the page away.
3. Trust your gut.
Scorpio is a water sign, the element of intuition. This season, your first feeling is information.
- When something feels off, pause before you say yes.
- You don't need a reason to say no. "That doesn't work for me" is a full sentence.
- Notice which people and places leave you feeling better, and go there more.
4. Say less, mean more.
Scorpio is private and precise. It doesn't over-explain, and it doesn't need to.
- Skip the long apology text. One honest sentence does it.
- Set one clear boundary this week, out loud.
- Try one conversation where you listen more than you talk.
5. Go all in on one thing.
Scorpio is a fixed sign, the steadiest kind of focus. It doesn't do halfway.
- Pick one goal for the season: a habit, a project or a skill.
- Write it somewhere you'll see every day.
- Give it 15 minutes a day until Nov 21.
6. Feel it all the way through.

Water signs process by feeling, not by skipping ahead. This season, let your feelings finish their sentence.
- Journal for five minutes before bed: what you felt today, no editing.
- Take the long walk instead of reaching for a distraction.
- If you need a good cry in the car, let it happen. Feelings move when you let them.
7. A little mystery looks good on you.
Scorpio has always kept a few cards close. Privacy isn't secrecy. It's protecting something that's still growing.
- Keep one goal to yourself until it's done.
- Post less and live more for one week.
- Let your next win be a surprise.
8. Transform one habit.
Transformation is Scorpio's whole thing, and it starts small.
- Pick one habit that drains you: the late-night scroll, the 3pm sugar crash, the snooze button.
- Swap it for one that fills you back up: an earlier bedtime, a walk, a protein-packed snack.
- Track it for 30 days. The ritual tracker in my free checklist uses the moon as your calendar.
9. Guard your energy like a secret.
Scorpio is famously protective of what matters, including its own energy.
- Leave the party when you're ready, not when everyone else is.
- Skip one event this month without over-explaining.
- Keep two evenings a week completely yours.
10. Glow in the dark.

Scorpio is a night sign, and the evenings get darker all season, especially once the clocks fall back on Nov 1. Darker evenings are an invitation, not a downside.
- Candles on, phone face down, one cozy night in this week.
- Make a mug of dark cherry hot cocoa, Scorpio's fall drink.
- Go to bed early without apologizing for it.
⨠Glow tip: make that hot cocoa count twice. Stir a scoop of Radiance into your mug once it's warm. It's unflavored and dissolves right in, so all you taste is chocolate and cherry.
11. Loyalty starts with you.
Scorpio is one of the most loyal signs of the zodiac. This season, point some of that loyalty inward.
- Keep one small promise to yourself every day.
- Treat your workout or your bedtime like plans with a friend you'd never cancel on.
- If you break a promise to yourself, make the next one smaller, not bigger.
12. Let yourself want things.
Scorpio is ruled by Mars, the planet of desire, and it never pretends not to want what it wants.
- Write a list of what you actually want this season, no editing.
- Circle one and take one step toward it this week.
- Say one want out loud to someone you trust.
13. Own your power.
With Mars and Pluto behind it, Scorpio is one of the most powerful signs of the zodiac. This season, take up your space.
- Speak up first in the meeting or the group chat.
- Reach for the heavier weight at the gym.
- Share the idea you've been sitting on.
14. Say yes to a little intensity.
Scorpio loves a little heat, and a little intensity is good for you in small doses.
- Try the harder workout.
- Order the spicier dish.
- Book the class you've been eyeing.
15. Find your water.

Scorpio is a water sign, and water resets you this season.
- Take a bath with the lights low.
- Go for a swim, or a walk by the ocean.
- On busy days, a long shower and a full water bottle help too.
Find your element, too
Scorpio is a water sign, but your moon and rising might be fire, earth or air, and each element recharges differently. My free Ultimate Self-Care Checklist helps you find your element and the self-care that fits it, with a 30-day ritual tracker that uses the moon as your calendar, so your Scorpio season focus has somewhere to live.
