The holiday rush is here! 🎄 That time of year when there’s additional things on your to-do list, & just not enough time in the day to complete them.

Fortunately, this delicious baked oats recipe is a perfect make ahead breakfast to serve for the holidays, & throughout the whole year too! Easy meal prep that’s prepped & baked in the same dish, uses simple healthy ingredients with no refined sugar, & is like having dessert for breakfast! 🙌

gingerbread baked oatmeal

In an oiled/lined pan, mix:

-2 bananas, mashed

-1 1/2 cups almond milk

-1/4 cup nut butter

-1/4 cup maple syrup

Then add:

-2 cups rolled oats

-1/2 cup vanilla protein powder

-2 tsp baking powder

-1 tsp cinnamon

-1 tsp cloves

-1 tsp nutmeg

-1/2 tsp ginger

Fold in optional sprinkles. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.

For an optional protein-packed icing, simply mix your favorite Greek or vegan yogurt + vanilla protein powder until you get the consistency you’d like.

Top with optional sprinkles, slice, & enjoy!
